I’d heard about it a little while ago, but I hadn’t unleashed my full disgust on the matter until yesterday, when I was shopping with one of my best friends, Minus-5. We’d been happily singing along to ‘Wannabe’, when I told her what I thought she already knew, but obviously didn’t:
“I can’t believe the Spice Girls cancelled their tour!” I said.
She just stopped. “Whaaaaa?” was her only reply.
I explained that the SG’s had cancelled their tour in Oz, so those tickets she’d pre-ordered for us? Forget about it. She was so pissed off she almost spilt her strawberries and cream all over the 2 for $15 table at Jay Jays.
I found out this morning on my way to job number two that it was apparently all poshie’s fault. Her first priority was her fashion business and her kids. It was claimed that she only agreed to a reunion tour in the first place to show her kids that “mummy used to be a pop star”, and will never agree to another tour.
